A downloadable game for Windows

As a young boy, your mother always tells you to never leave your room after you go to bed. You've always been curious on why that is, but you never complained. You always do what mother tells you to do, but tonight is different. Tonight you decide to see why.

This is a short, first person horror game designed to be played roughly 5-20 minutes. Gamepad is supported. This is my first ever game project as a developer and I give my thanks if you enjoyed.

im not sure how to fix this, the game is too wide for my pc screen so i cant see any of the options and i cant start up the game.

try alt+enter to full screen the game. If that doesn't work then the game may not support your resolution :(

thank you!

Your game in the video is the last one.

Nice short horror game! I do share the same issues with others on this game that it is too dark overall or at least the flashlight is too narrow. The concept of the game itself is great. You got to room hop around the house to find a way out really adds the sense of dread. The monster himself is creepy, but the animation of being capture is not punchy enough. I would speed the animation up and make it closer. It felt weird to get caught then see him still running up to you again in the animation. I had a fun time playing this game. Thanks for making it!

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.

It was so DARK but it was a really goood game i almost gave up lol game starts at 3:34

Thanks for playing!

no problem, I had a lot of fun even tho I was fearing for my life and stuff ๐Ÿ˜‚

I couldn't even start it...is there something I should do?

What do you mean? It doesn't open?

it opens, but it's a black screen. I can't even close the window

Are you sure you opened the .exe application? There shouldn't be a problem. Does your windows computer run on 32 bit? The game can only be played on a 64 bit machine.

Thanks! I appreciate it.

I thought it was really effective to start with and I loved how clearly you could hear him patrolling but because of the difficulty you get kind of desensitized to the scares and it becomes a little more of a frustrating experience especially with doors being hard to close. I loved the main menu, he was SO creepy in the background!

Gameplay if interested:

Thank you so much for playing! I set up the doors and light switches in a way that you have to be directly in front of it in order to interact with it, but I see now that it's a problem. I'm planning on releasing a bug fix update very soon.

How can I call the police? and the game is too dark

Good game. Tough. I got frustrated and quit after calling the cops. I liked the overall atmosph

ere. It WAS scary. I may revisit. I think game 2..

Thank you for playing! Since the game is rather short, I decided to add a bit of a challenge to make it more fun in a way.

I believe that error is due to a outdated version of Unreal Engine or you just haven't installed it. Have you ever installed anything running on Unreal Engine before? If you haven't, the games install should have told you that it requires Unreal Engine to run, which then should've shown a install button for Unreal. Hope this helps.
